Wellington International Horse Trials & Country Fair Hobby Horse Competition

We would like to invite you to THREE days of fun-filled day hobby horsing at Wellington International Horse Trials & Country Fair.

What will we be running?

We will be running hobby horsing across the three days. Show jumping classes will include a range of heights: 30cm, 40cm and 50cm.

From about midday onwards on each day, we will be running ‘have a go’ / clear round jumping. Come along to our stand to see what hobby horsing is all about. Every child will get a rosette!

Alongside this, we will have a shop which will display a selection of Buckberry hobby horses for sale. We are super excited to have this chance to sell these hobby horses - they are meticulously crafted and are a cherished keepsake, designed to withstand the test of time.

Who is welcome?

Whether you are a total beginner or a seasoned jumper, absolutely everyone is welcome! If you do not own a hobby horse, we will have a selection of hobby horses to borrow for the classes.

Competitors must wear suitable footwear at all times.

Uk Hobby Horse provides the activties but this is a parent-supervised event. We accept no liability for accidents ot theft.

Entries are £10 online via Horsevents for the show jumping classes. Please book online to avoid disappointment - late entries are accepted on the day at the cost of £12. Clear round / have a go is £6 a go and you can pay on the day with either cash or card.

On arrival please report to the desk to check in and sign your disclaimers. This is essential in order to compete. Please note that disclaimers have to be signed by an adult over the age of 18.
